Crown and Empire Events

It is a fact of life that the general financial situation has cut the money available for events; indeed it is unlikely that we will have many “big” events for a few years and it will be the “little” or small unit events that will benefit. However our new events team is working on additions to our programme for 2012 and new additional events will be published as soon as we have the details.

A proportion of our events are equestrian orientated and cover both Historical Re-enactment and Skill at Arms (SAA) shows. For anyone who is interested in training in the SAA discipline they can do no better than to contact Ditchling Common Stud at www.ditchlingcommonstud.co.uk and possibly joining the Sussex Peggers Riding Club at www.sussexpeggers.com. Many of the shows are the Battle Proms www.battleproms.com all of which are well worth attending for a really good evening's entertainment.
